Our First Egg of the Season!

The stormy weather is on the way, so I went out to move the ladies food into the coop and Low and Behold There was a beautiful Lone Leghorn Egg!! Oh My!!! Its so amazing! I love it very much and am so deeply grateful that my beautiful chicken gave me this amazing gift!!

Abundance! Sustenance! Health! Wealth! its is all Ours!! YES!

Now for some Incentive for you!!

Backyard eggs have approximately twenty-five percent more vitamin E, seventy-five percent more beta carotene, and as much as twenty times the amount of Omega-3 fatty acids as do factory farmed eggs.
Perhaps best of all for those who avoid eating eggs due to worries about cholesterol, backyard eggs contain only about half as much cholesterol as factory farmed eggs. (http://voices.yahoo.com/the-benefits-backyard-eggs-eggs-laid-domestic-395793.html)

And A wonderful article from Mother Earth news!
